Gold Award
To achieve a Gold Award, you must demonstrate best practice in cellar management, beer dispense, bar presentation and beer quality. The assessor will look in your cellar, as well as sample a number of your draught and bottled beers.

Platinum Award
The Platinum Award is the ultimate Award for beer quality and presentation. It demands the same excellent beer quality standards as for the Gold Award, in addition to outstanding presentation of beer in your pub. In practice, this means a great range of beer styles, visible beer lists or chalkboards, expert staff and, generally, beer and food matching.

Apply by downloading one of our application forms above (step 2), and returning it with a cheque for the fee (see ‘Award fees at a glance’ below).

When we receive your application form and fee payment, we will phone or email you to arrange a date for your assessment.
